We see from your search that you're looking for information on the term "Baseband processors", and we have a large number of manufacturers' news releases and technical articles here on Electronicstalk which will be of interest. Let me be your guide.
Start with the news release Programmable transceiver covers a broad band from BitWave Semiconductor, which we summarised at the time by saying "Fully software configurable across all channels in the frequency bands between 700MHz and 3.8GHz". A couple of weeks before, we featured the news release Paper to describe novel programmable baseband from Coresonic: "Fully programmable baseband processor will enable standards such as mobile WiMAX and DVB-T/H to be implemented much more efficiently than fixed-function circuits".
In November 2007, we covered the news from Maxim Integrated Products concerning its MAX2769E - take a look at Navigation receiver claims universal application which says: "The MAX2769E/W is the first navigation satellite system receiver to cover GPS (L1 C/A code and P-code), WAAS, Egnos, Galileo and Glonass navigation satellite systems".
Take a look also at the news release from picoChip Designs, Two baseband processors replace nine DSPs, as well as Handset camera takes antishake onboard from OmniVision, and Transceivers integrate full WiMAX feature set from Analog Devices.
