Start with the news release Chipset cuts the cost of ADSL2+ equipment from TrendChip Technologies, which we summarised at the time by saying "New chipset offers TR-100 performance, wire-speed routing throughput, enhanced features and the best price-performance ratio". A few weeks before, we featured the news release ADSL2+ test set assesses service quality from Exfo Electro-Optical Engineering: "Exfo Electro-Optical Engineering's AXS-200/620 ADSL2+ triple-play test set provides a combination of DSL and Ethernet features which allow for testing in any residential triple-play environment".

In September 2007, we covered the news from Ikanos Communications concerning its VDSL2 CPE and Fusiv software - take a look at Software chosen for residential gateway which says: "The Fusiv Vx gateway processors use Ikanos' distributed architecture to offload switching, routing and firewall functions to on-chip accelerator processors".

Take a look also at the news release from Exfo Electro-Optical Engineering, Handheld tester tackles triple-play networks, as well as Instrument eases ADSL2+ installation from Exfo Electro-Optical Engineering, and DSL filters have all standards covered from Focus EDL.
