The Y-ConFlange-Punch-1 is a hand punch, laid out for the hole pattern of the Y-ConFlange-10, that simplifies the task of panel mounting the Y-Con range of connectors. The functional principle is that of a standard rectangular punch and includes a drilling template and matrix for four screw holes. The manually operated Y-ConFlange-Punch-1 significantly reduces time and costs when mounting the Y-ConFlange-10 and is particularly suitable for field assembly.

The tool is suitable for V2A steel sheets (Rockwell hardness 56-58) up to 2mm in thickness.

It consists of a base plate with integrated drilling matrix, a die with the punch contour, a shaft with locking nut and a ball bearing compression nut.

The punch tool generates a flange contour suitable for mounting Y-ConRJ45, Y-ConUSB, Y-ConIEEE (FireWire) and Y-ConProfiNet connectors.
