The user only buys what's really necessary.
Power consumption and thermal management are limited to an absolute minimum.
Each tailor-made Vicos VC06 controller is configured out of standardised hardware and software modules.
After specifying mechanical requirements, I/O features, display parameters, computing performance and interfaces, all necessary modules will be combined and produced on a single controller board.
This uniquely integrated board exactly suits the need of the application and is available within four weeks.
There are no limits for VC06 applications ranging from vending machines, via medical devices, automotive equipment, communication systems to building automation.
The Vicos VC06 controller can be configured using the following standard modules: displays ranging from 2.5 to 14in with LED and CCFL illumination and various brightness levels; trackball, touchscreen or softkey operation; ARM and XScale processors of different performance ranges; mass storage such as CompactFlash, hard discs, DVD/CD; power supply modules for different environments; serial interfaces and networks like RS232, RS485, CAN, I2C, USB and Ethernet; interfaces for special peripheral devices; various sensor and actuator interfaces; and short-range wireless interfaces like RFID, Bluetooth, EnOcean or ZigBee.
The Vicos VC06 controller is available now.
A flexible development and test system enables application software programming development in parallel to final hardware integration.
