The four-terminal BHPR T0-227 style chassis-mount package can be configured as a dual-resistor or single-resistor element.

BI Technologies' BHPR series resistors feature increased power ratings from 150W to 650W and are offered in a TO-227 package style.

The four-terminal BHPR T0-227 style chassis-mount package can be configured as a dual-resistor or single-resistor element.

The resistors are suitable for applications including power supply snubbers, pulse generators, high-frequency amplifiers and dividers in high-end audio systems.

The BHPR series has a resistance range of 1ohm to 1kohm, with tolerances up to +1% and TCRs to 100 parts per million degrees C.

The resistors are designed to provide the lowest possible thermal resistance from the resistive element to the integral base metal flange of the TO-227 style packages.

This gives design engineers the ability to specify them for higher wattage power electronics circuits that can experience elevated temperatures during operation.

The devices are rated for operation within the range from -55C to +155C.

John Mackay, Managing Director of TT electronics BI Technologies, said: "The BHPR series provides excellent high-frequency characteristics, as well as extremely low thermal resistance".

The BHPR series resistors feature-low inductance M4 screw terminals, providing superior vibration durability.

All BHPR series devices are RoHS-compliant.
