Texas Instruments has unveiled a TCP/IP stack optimised for the TMS320C6000 digital signal processor The company claims the new stack, combined with a new network developer's kit, can reduce the cost of network connection by more than 50% in DSP-based Internet appliances by removing the need for costly network processors and custom software royalties
