NorthStar covers Northwest region
Tenison EDA has named NorthStar Associates of Beaverton, Oregon, as its Northwest US representative
BlackForest EDA was formed this year to provide the electronics industry with critical verification technology, speeding the completion of advanced computer-chip designs. Tenison's customers worldwide include ST Microelectronics, ARM, GlobespanVirata, Mysticom, Seaway Networks, and Centillium.
They are using VTOC for C++ modeling 5-50 times faster than the best compiled Verilog that can integrate easily in codevelopment and coverification environments.
This enables system-on-chip companies to perform system verification and software development before silicon comes back from the fab, improving the overall design, reducing silicon respins, and shortening the development schedule.
