Released towards the end of November 2004, P-CAD 2004 offers over 50 new and enhanced features.

The full version offers upgraded technologies for layout and automatic and interactive routing, improved support for CAM file editing and circuit simulation, as well as a host of enhancements designed to give greater power and control over the PCB design process.

SP1 is a minor update initiated in response to feedback from customers via Altium's P-CAD Forum.

"The release of P-CAD 2004 was highly successful and we are delighted that the product is continuing its long-standing track record for reliability", said Noko-Latrise Douglas, Altium's P-CAD Product Manager "Unlike many of its competitors, Altium provides service amendments free of charge to licensed customers".

"SP1 is another example of our strengthened commitment to our loyal P-CAD customer base".

Service Pack 1 is available free of charge for immediate download to all licensed P-CAD 2004 customers from the Altium website.

P-CAD 2004 full suite new licences are priced at Eur 9995.

Upgrade pricing for the full suite starts at Eur 2995 for P-CAD 2002 users.

Other configurations are available from Eur 1695.
