The latest Tasking embedded software development toolset for the TriCore architecture is enhanced with next-generation Viper compiler technology.

The latest Tasking embedded software development toolset for the TriCore architecture is enhanced with next-generation Viper compiler technology.

Altium internal benchmarking has shown increases in execution speed and decreases in code size of an average of 10% compared to the previous Tasking TriCore toolset.

This new toolset excels in performance of generated code, completeness of features, architecture support, and compliance with industry standards.

The new toolset has been extensively tested to ensure compatibility with all leading third-party TriCore products such as emulators and RTOSs, and a project conversion tool is included with all packages to allow easy migration of existing projects from previous Tasking TriCore toolsets to the new toolset.

The Tasking TriCore VX-toolset is a complete, integrated embedded software development toolset consisting of the Tasking EDE, C/C++/EC++ compiler, assembler, linker/locator and CrossView Pro OCDS and simulator debugger.

The product is available for PC/Windows, PC/Linux and Sun/Solaris platforms.

Prices start at US $4290 for the C/C++/EC++ compiler and simulator debugger package for PC/Windows.
