Compact encryption unit
for military purposes
An Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract from the Department of Defense has been awarded for a powerful portable encryption device for all classifications of digital data traffic
Sypris Electronics has been awarded an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract from the Department of Defense for its KIV-19M Link Encryptor. This contract is in support of the US Government's Cryptographic Modernisation Initiative. The competitive, five-year IDIQ contract is for the products of two vendors, including Sypris Electronics' cryptographically modernised KIV-19M.

The KIV-19M is a fully ruggedised, dual-channel link encryptor device designed to survive a host of battlefield conditions.
It is a compact and lightweight unit with technology advancements not found in most encryption equipment.
It will provide cryptographic security for all classifications of digital data traffic at exceptionally high speeds.
A full range of ancillary devices and services are also available making the KIV-19M application, installation and maintenance simple, reliable and cost effective.
