Kourakos invests in Synopsys
Jessica Kourakos is to join Synopsys as vice president, Investor Relations, effective 30th July 2002
Kourakos will work closely with Synopsys senior management to develop investor relations strategies and manage Synopsys' communications with the analyst and investor communities. Kourakos joins Synopsys from Goldman, Sachs and Co, where, as a vice president, she covered the technical software market, as well as the videogame and security infrastructure software markets.

Kourakos' responsibilities included publication of research including insight on industry trends and current developments, management of communications with mutual funds and other institutional clients, and identifying up-and-coming IPO and merger opportunities.
Companies covered by Kourakos included Synopsys, Electronic Arts, Symantec, Autodesk and Cadence Design.
In 2000 and 2001, Kourakos ranked second in the Greenwich survey for Technical Software research.
Prior to joining Goldman, Sachs Kourakos was an associate investment research analyst at UBS Warburg in New York.
