The 21.3in colour LCD module, part number NL160120AC27-22B, from NEC LCD Technologies has broadened the product portfolio of Gleichmann Sunrise.
The display enables a resolution of up to 1,600 x 1,200 pixels.
The combination of super-fine TFT (UA-SFT) technology and a high-intensity direct backlight system achieves a high luminance of 900cd/m2.
With regard to brightness, this guarantees a wide dynamic range that precisely reproduces grayscale images.
A further improvement in panel and backlight design compared to previous models prevents the influences from any scattered light.
The result is an approximated 20 per cent improvement of contrast ratio of 1,100:1.
By reducing colour shifts, the UA-SFT technology of the NL160120AC27-22B enables horizontal and vertical viewing angles of 178deg.
Gleichmann Sunrise also offers a 20.1in monochrome LCD module, part number NL256204AM15-03A, with quad super-extended graphic array (QSXGA) resolution for digital mammography image interpretation.
