Eight-channel digitiser saves PCI slots
The new UltraFast UF3132 is heralded as the first digitiser PCI card to provide eight analogue input channels on a single card.
With modern desktop PCs offering fewer PCI slots, there is an increasing demand from engineers for test and measurement manufacturers to produce PCI cards with more measurement channels Similarly there is a large installed base of older Camac multichannel measurement systems whose users are currently looking to upgrade to a PC-based solution that would allow them to use a standard analysis program such as Matlab

Board samples eight channels simultaneously
The UltraFast UF3132 transient recorder/oscilloscope PCI board provides eight analogue input channels with a maximum sampling rate of 25Msample/s at 12bit ADC resolution.
Embedded SBC takes automotive DC supplies
The Zeon StrongARM computer board is optimised for embedded industrial and automotive applications.
The new UltraFast UF3132 from Strategic Test Corp has been designed to address these needs and is the first digitiser PCI card to provide eight analogue input channels on a single card.
Furthermore, multiple cards can be combined in an industrial-type PC to create systems with up to 128 synchronised channels.
The UF3132 has eight 12bit A/D convertors with maximum sampling rates to 25Msample/s, provides true simultaneous sampling and has up to 256Msample onboard signal memory for recording long signals at the maximum rates.
