The Dual-Core Intel Xeon processor LV 2.0GHz is a member of Intel's growing product line of multicore processors. Available from Silica, this product combines the benefits of two high-performance execution cores with intelligent power management features to deliver significantly greater performance-per-watt over previous single-core Intel Xeon processor-based platforms. Intel's 65nm process technology makes it possible to integrate two cores, along with many advanced features, into one physical package.

The dual-core/dual-processor capabilities are ideal for a wide range of low-power communications and embedded applications.

The dual-core processor remains software-compatible with previous 32bit Intel Architecture processors.

The dual-core Intel Xeon processor LV 2.0GHz is validated with the widely deployed Intel E7520 chipset featuring high bandwidth for increased memory and I/O throughput.
