Filters bring high-frequency harmony
Thin-film lowpass filters reduce and eliminate unwanted harmonics in telecomms systems, satellite receivers, mobile comms, GPS systems, wireless LANs and WiMAX.
State of the Art (SOTA) has added a range of thin-film lowpass filters to its high-frequency product line.
The lowpass filters are available in subminiature cases on 99% alumina substrates constructed using high-stability thin-film planar technology.
50ohm terminations are available for either solder or epoxy mounting.
These devices are available with passband cutoffs at 5.5, 7 and 8GHz.
Maximum rejection is greater than 16dB, and VSWR characteristics are less than 1.4:1.
with an insertion loss of less than 0.5dB.
The filters are designed to eliminate the need for use of multiple components where space use is critical, and are available in several standard designs and custom cutoff frequencie,s including high-reliability screening.
SOTA's LPF line is suitable for many different applications to reduce and eliminate unwanted harmonics in telecommunications systems such as satellite receivers, mobile communications, GPS systems, wireless LANs and WiMAX.
Pricing for the new components is less then US $1.90 in production quantities.
