Rutronik's universal presence throughout Europe affords the company ideal distribution channels into FME's most important markets for automotive, multimedia, mobile communications, networking/telecommunications, digital audio and industrial applications. The partnership encompasses the entire FME product portfolio, including ASICs, microcontrollers, graphics display controllers, DVB front-end solutions, MPEG-2 decoders/encoders and fingerprint sensors.
Collaboration allows the two firms to bundle their extensive operations in the European market, Rutronik obtaining another leading manufacturer for the entire European territory, and FME benefiting from the potential for increased market penetration.
'Our goal is to offer our customers throughout Europe a product spectrum that is as well integrated as possible, offering products from the leading manufacturers across all segments', explained Thomas Rudel, Director of Sales and Marketing for Rutronik.
