The latest product in Rubycon's 'impedancerevolution', the MBZ aluminium electrolytic capacitordelivers best in class impedance performance - a massive 40%reduction in comparison to some existing models. Loweringimpedance results in higher ripple ratings in a smaller can size.Consequently, the capacitor's higher ripple currentcapability has seen a dramatic uptake in high performance PCmotherboard VRM (voltage regulator module) and VRD (voltageregulator down) applications where the ripple current bank haseffectively enabled component count reductions of up to 60%,creating space for additional features onboard.
