Improved website is easier to navigate, quicker to search and more interesting to visit.

Rapidonline.com has a fresh new look, and a whole host of exciting new features, including a new checkout and improved search facility, making it easier to buy from Rapid's range of 50,000 products.

The changes have been made entirely with customers in mind, so that the website is easier to navigate, quicker to search and more interesting to visit.

Paying for goods is now even easier.

Pricing and delivery rates are displayed more clearly throughout the checkout process.

Clearer log-in options are available for new customers, registered users or those activating an existing account for online purchasing.

The search bar is now not only considerably larger, but available at the head and foot of every page.

The quick order form is now displayed in full on the right hand area of the home page - as well as on the left side panel as a drop down option.

New features on the site include today's popular searches, products and manufacturers, where visitors can track real-time details of the most popular search terms being used on the site, and the day's most-viewed products and manufacturers.

"How to" and "You should try" panels feature electronics hints and tips and product recommendations.

Customers can also now post comments on any news story on the site.

An integrated top navigation panel provides access to the Rapid Blog, live help and clearance section, and the chance to sign-up to the company's newsletter, text alerts or RSS feed.

Rapid's collection of mini-sites, focusing on products, educational projects and sponsored activities, are now called "channels", and can be accessed much more easily from the left hand navigation panel.
