A range of laboratory development kits is now available from stock from Rhopoint Components to assist engineers with their design and development work.

A range of laboratory development kits is now available from stock from Rhopoint Components to assist engineers with their design and development work.

Suitable for development and laboratory use are three thin-film precision chip resistor kits that include 96 different resistance values from 10ohm to 1Mohm with a tolerance of 0.5% and a temperature coefficient to 25ppm.

The kits contain up to 96,000 resistors in total.

This large selection of surface mount resistors provides excellent temperature stability combined with low noise and good high frequency response.

For RF engineers, there is a 1GHz thin-film inductor kit that has 23 different inductance values and a total of 4600 components per kit.

Two surface mount attenuator kits comprise chip attenuators that exhibit excellent high frequency characteristics up to 10GHz, with up to 1100 attenuators in each.

Magnetic sensor development is facilitated with two engineering kits, one with analogue and one with digital outputs, using the new giant magnetoresistance (GMR) sensors.

The digital kit consists of 16 distinct GMR sensors that span the magnetic field range.

Also included is a ceramic bar magnet, printed circuit board and a TSSOP ZIF socket with Kelvin contacts.

The analogue output kit consists of 12 sensors, printed circuit boards and permanent magnets to demonstrate sensor functionality.

Also available are 24 and 26bit analogue-to-digital evaluation kits for the Thaler A/D convertor range.

These kits contain two precision voltage references, connect directly to a PC and come with interface cables and menu driven software.

All kits, as well as full technical support, are available from stock for immediate delivery from Rhopoint Components.
