Resistors aid high-accuracy analogue design
The new USF series of ultrastable film resistors features a zero nominal temperature coefficient and a 2ppm absolute maximum between -40 and +85C.
The new USF series of ultrastable film resistors features a zero nominal temperature coefficient and a 2ppm absolute maximum between -40 and +85C.
The resistors have excellent thermal conductivity, which is obtained using a ceramic sandwich construction.
This effectively minimises the drift associated with self-heating, giving excellent temperature coefficient performance coupled a maximum long term stability at full load as low as 0.03% per 10kh.
2500V voltage ratings make the series ideal for precision voltage dividers and scientific instrument applications, while the devices exhibit a typical voltage coefficient of 0.02ppm/V.
The resistors in this series are available from 30ohm to 20Mohm in a set of 37 standard resistance values which are commonly required in high-accuracy analogue design.
Tolerances up to 0.01% are available in the range.
For even more precise applications matched pairs are available with ratio TCs as low as 0.5ppm/C.
The USF series is radial leaded and varies in length from 19 to 38mm.
Samples are available now.
