High-voltage resistors are stable sorts
Caddock type USG ultrastable low-TC precision high-voltage resistors have been developed for use in the most demanding precision high-voltage applications.
Caddock type USG ultrastable low-TC precision high-voltage resistors have been developed for use in the most demanding precision high-voltage applications.
These resistors are ideal for use in applications, such as power supplies for electron microscopes, semiconductor manufacturing equipment, spectrographic equipment and other high-voltage power supplies in laboratory, research and industrial applications.
USG high-voltage resistors are available in three models with voltage ratings and high standard resistance values of 5kV (50 and 75Mohm), 10kV (100 and 150Mohm), and 15kV (150 and 200Mohm).
The standard tolerance in the standard resistance values is +/-0.10%.
Stated to be the lowest temperature coefficient high voltage resistors available in the industry, these devices have values of 10 ppm/C over the range from -40 to +85C, referenced to +25C and to have the best load life stability in a high voltage resistor available in the industry.
Typical resistance change after 1kh at full rated voltage at 85C is just 0.025%, the maximum change being only 0.05%.
These precision high-voltage resistors are manufactured using Caddock's proven Tetrinox resistance film system with selected core materials and physical geometry to optimise the low TC and ultrastable performance in the voltage ratings and resistance values to fit a variety of high performance high-voltage systems.
Custom low-TC high-voltage strings are available for high system voltages over the range 30 to 200kV and higher.
