The BV series of micro-ohm and milliohm surface-mount resistors is capable of handling currents up to 160A with available tolerances down to 1%.

It is designed for high current applications where a high level of accuracy is required.

The devices have a temperature coefficient of better than 50ppm/degC (20-150C) and power ratings ranging from 1 to 5W.

There are three models in the series with resistance values from 3mohm down to 200uohm.

Tolerances are to 1% and inductance is typically less than 3nH.

These resistors also give excellent pulse power handling capacity.

All devices have excellent long-term stability of less than 0.5% after 2kh at 95C, and will operate to a maximum temperature of 150C, making them suitable for frequency convertors, high-current automotive applications, power hybrids and modules.

The BVR model is designed for mounting on IMS substrates, and has Kelvin terminations for accurate current sensing.

All models are reflow solderable, or can be welded to copper busbars.
