Rhopoint Components has introduced a range of solid state relays that have a low profile in a surface mount package that is ideal for modems and data communications applications.

The new G2-DA06 is a Dual Form A device with just 18Ohm maximum ON resistance - with just 10Ohm typically - that can handle continuous load current of 180mA and peak load voltages of 250V.

Input/output isolation is 3750Vrms.

The 0.087 inch maximum height of the SSR makes it ideal for modem and network card installations.

No EMI/RFI is generated by the relay and its solid state construction eliminates arcing and contact bounce.

No snubbing circuits are required.

UL and CSA recognised, the G2-DA06 relay is also certificated to BABT and VDE, making it acceptable for global standards.

A through hole leaded version of the relay is also available from Rhopoint.
