Exceptionally low inductance of only 5nH coupled with high stability, make the latest current sensing resistor from Rhopoint Components perfect for high speed current sensing applications such as those found in motor controllers and switching power supplies.

The new SR20 sensors are high precision devices which give 1% tolerance with Kelvin (four terminal) connections.

Rated at 2W continuous operation at 70C ambient temperature, the resistors have excellent stability and load life.

Heavy copper terminals aid this stability and also contribute to cool operation even with continuous currents up to 15.8A.

Surge capability is in excess of 600A for short transients (>3kW at 10ms).

SR20 current sensors are available from 0.008ohm to 1.00ohm +/-1%, are inexpensive and have a compact footprint .
