The prise is awarded annually to especially innovative or user-oriented products.

Companies and users were allowed to nominate products launched between November 2004 and October 2005 in 12 different categories.

The Editors were particularly impressed by the R and S ZVT8's multiport architecture, which allows it to achieve very short measurement times while maintaining high measurement accuracy and a wide dynamic range.

It is the world's first eight-port network analyser up to 8GHz for complex measurements on active multiports and balanced DUTs.
