Reprint has redesigned and improved the display and power board modules used in many of its screen printing machines. The machines covered by the upgrade are the: SMTech 90 Benchtop (Quad VMP20B); SMTech 100S (Quad VMP20S), (MPM UP100); SMTech 100MV (Quad VMP20MV), (MPM UP100 with Vision); SMTech 100IS (Quad VMP20IS); and SMTech 100AV (Quad VMP20AV). Both boards have been designed as a direct replacement for the SMTech models with up-to-date components and have increased stability built in.
The display board in particular is now fitted with a blue LCD for improved viewing and more robust motor drives have been designed into the power board.
Both boards are backwardly compatible with all versions of the SMTech firmware currently fitted.
Users simply remove the firmware chip from the old board and place into the socket on the new one.
The company can now also supply tough replacement front display covers for the same machine models.
The new black glass-fibre covers are very tough and not only do the business they look great as well.
