Curtiss-Wright Controls Embedded Computing has launched the FibreXpress FX200, a new conduction-cooled dual-channel, Fibre Channel PMC card that supports simultaneous Internet Protocol (IP), SCSI (FCP), Raw Initiator (FXRI) and Lightweight Protocol (FCLP) high speed data transfers over the same media Integrators can select between copper HSSDC and 850 or 1300nm fibre-optic media with a single card, resulting in improved performance while simultaneously reducing system board count and increasing system reliability
