The OnPower 60-I is an intelligent 60W triple-output galvanically isolated PC/104 bus DC/DC power supply designed to meet the demanding requirements of aircraft, ship and industrial installations

Soon to be available from Parvus Corp, the OnPower 60-I is an intelligent 60W triple-output galvanically isolated PC/104 bus DC/DC power supply designed to meet the demanding requirements of aircraft, ship and industrial installations. Featuring a special mechanical design hardened for extreme temperature, shock and vibration, the OnPower 60-I board includes an onboard microcontroller dedicated to monitoring ambient temperatures and protecting the system from excessive thermal stress.

The board also incorporates a DC/DC convertor module placed on its bottom side so that it can be structurally heatsinked to a thermally conductive base - to enable reliable extended temperature operation (-40 to +85C) without any active cooling (fanless).

Input protected and filtered, the OnPower 60-I is ideal for battery-operated +24V DC nominal systems.

It offers reverse protection up to -45V DC and short-term tolerance of spikes up to 50V (1ms).

An optional external filter and input protection unit can be supplied if compliance with MIL-STD-704 is required.

Output voltages are fed into the PC/104 bus and can also be accessed from the terminal blocks on the board.

It also supports configurable timing for power sequencing, as well as remote shutdown.

Indicator LEDs display the status of each power output.

The OnPower 60-I is expected to be in stock by early Q3 2005.

Pricing starts at $429 each in volume orders of 100-plus units.
