DVStation-IP is an MPEG-2 test and monitoring platform, ideal for operators requiring the transmission of video and data over Internet or other IP networks. The BIRTV Award, established in 2003, is held in conjunction with BIRTV, otherwise known as the Beijing International Radio, TV and Film Equipment Exhibition.
The award committee recorded more than a hundred applications vying for top spots in the three categories - Application, Product and Technology.
A total of five Major awards and 27 Best awards were allocated to deserving innovators.
The distinguished review panel comprised of professional scholars, experts and eminent authorities.

Over thirty companies swept the awards at the ceremony, during which Mr Du Bai Chuan, Deputy Chief Engineer for China's State Administration of Radio, Film and Television (SARFT), presented the awards to the product category winners.

DVStation-IP provides MPEG-2 transport stream analysis and monitoring over an IP connection via a 10, 100 and 1000 Mbit/s Ethernet port.
Once connected, DVStation-IP can be set to sniff out video traffic on any set of IP address pairs, extract the MPEG-2 transport stream and perform extensive MPEG-2 verification.
The new DVStation-IP now features Service View that spans multiple TS, displaying video thumbnails, critical TS and audio/video parameters in a concise format, in a 19in, 2RU rack mount enclosure.
Key applications include a combination of real-time signal measurements, user-configurable alarm thresholds and graphical displays.
