New line to increase capacity by 50%
Pelikon has invested GBP 500,000 in a new manufacturing line which will increase its production capacity by 50%
Pelikon, the Cardiff based manufacturer of printed segmented electroluminescent (pSEL) displays and backlights, has invested GBP 500,000 in a new manufacturing line which will increase its production capacity by 50%, as it prepares to address new markets and meet new orders. Over the last two years Pelikon has invested over GBP 5 million in creating the most advanced electroluminescent manufacturing facility in the world within its brand new class 10,000 cleanroom that includes two main deposition and curing lines.

The new line equipment, which has been under development for a year, will be fully operational from March and represents an additional investment of over GBP 500,000 by Pelikon.
It signifies the strengthening of Pelikon's standing in the global display manufacturing marketplace.
'This investment will enable us to fulfil the demand we are creating through introducing our proven pSEL technology into new applications and geographies', said Mike Powell, Managing Director.
He continued that: 'This increased capacity puts us in an even greater position to meet our growing customers' needs'.
