ITT has reduced lead times for its rugged, moisture-sealed Micro-D connectors, for aviation and industrial applications, by expanding its Quick Turn program with distributor PEI-Genesis.

The microminiature connectors are designed so as to provide higher-density contact configurations than available in traditional rectangular connectors.
First invented by Cannon in the 1960s, the connectors meet increasing demands for rugged, moisture-sealed microminiature connectors suitable for harsh environments and use in mission critical military, aviation, space and industrial applications.
PEI's 150,000 square foot facility in South Bend, Indiana, produces more than 32,000 parts per day.
Approximately 65 per cent of orders PEI fulfils are in quantities of 10 pieces or less.
