Enea now offers turnkey engineering services to designers of DO-254-compliant safety-critical systems
Enea will provide complete life cycle DO-254 services, from mastery of DO-254 processes through DO-254-compliant hardware development, verification, certification, deployment and maintenance. RTCA DO-254: 'Design assurance guidance for airborne electronic hardware', is a standard for complex electronic hardware development, and the FAA benchmark for safety-critical avionics hardware.

The DO-254 standard addresses all aspects of hardware design assurance throughout the hardware design life cycle, including the planning process, development process, CM process, quality assurance process, certification liaison, and hardware life cycle data.

Enea's professional services team works hand in hand with avionics system designers to help them optimise their DO-254 processes and enhance scheduling efficiency while reducing risk and cost.
Enea's resident designated engineering representative expert can also help avionics design teams communicate with the FAA ACO (Aircraft Certification Office) and assist them in passing an FAA or DER audit the first time with integrity.
