OSA Technologies' 32bit IPMI drivers for Microsoft Windows 2000 and Windows 2003 have passed the Microsoft Windows Hardware Quality Labs (WHQL) tests. OSA 32bit IPMI drivers for Windows are now digitally signed, assuring vendors and users that the drivers they are installing are compatible with Windows. Microsoft encourages the use of digital signatures for drivers to advance system stability, to provide a better user experience, and to reduce total cost of ownership for customers.
These drivers will be demonstrated at the upcoming Intel Developer Forum (IDF) in San Francisco from 7th to 9th September on booth 410.
OSA 32bit IPMI drivers for Windows are available today as well as 32 and 64bit drivers for Linux.
Pricing varies by OS platform and implementation.
"By passing the WHQL tests, vendors and users are assured of a high level of quality and performance when integrating these drivers within their IPMI-based servers, management applications and appliances", said Mark Lee, CEO, OSA Technologies.
"Extensive testing using specialised stress testing tools and methodologies against both old and new generations of servers, together with OSA's experience, places OSA at the forefront of quality IPMI driver development".
"Testing is also performed together with our IPMI firmware and other management products - OSA Command Line Interface (CLI), Serial-over-LAN (SOL) and OSA Server Manager products".
"No other vendor offers such a robust, complete and Windows compatible IPMI management stack".
