Photodiode enters production
The ODD-5W is the first high-performance photodiode from Opto Diode Corp
The 5mm2 silicon PIN photodiode is now in production at Opto Diode's US-based facility. The photodiodes have excellent responsivity from 400 to 1100nm, exhibit low dark current, low capacitance and feature a 2.52mm active area diameter. Storage and operating temperature ranges from -55 to +100C.
Opto Diode's new ODD-5W featuring TO-5 flat window packaging is ideal for applications in medical instrumentation, industrial photo control and optical instrumentation.
Other areas of use include biotechnology, military/defence, R and D, test and measurement, aerospace, and commercial markets.
Case-isolated packaging is also available, on request.
