The terminal case of the sloping front
Unidesk aluminium terminal cases are designed for housing desktop and wall mounted electronics such as point-of-sale terminals, medical equipment and test and measurement devices
New from OKW, the Unidesk range of aluminium terminal cases are manufactured by the company's Metcase division. These ergonomic sloping front enclosures are designed for housing desktop and wall mounted electronics. Typical applications will include point-of-sale terminals, medical and wellness equipment, machine controllers, and test and measurement devices etc.

Unidesk enclosures are manufactured from die-cast aluminium end panels and extruded front and rear profiles.
The cases are supplied pre-assembled and painted in light grey, RAL7035.
The base panel is removable and includes mounting points for fitting M3 PCB screw pillars, which are ordered separately.

Enclosure range adds two new models with hinged transparent lids that are ideal for wall or machine mounted applications where the controls and displays need to be clearly seen
Four nonslip rubber feet are also included.
An accessory wall mounting kit is also offered.
Three standard models are available with external dimensions of 200 x 200 x 102, 300 x 200 x 102 and 400 x 200 x 102mm.
Two types of accessory front panel are offered: type FF are anodised aluminium panels fitted from the front with M4 fixing screws, and type RF are unfinished aluminium panels fitted from the rear by M3 studs.
The type RF panels are especially suitable for fitting membrane keypads or product labels.
Unidesk cases can be sealed up to IP54 protection class.
A set of four L-shaped foam gaskets are supplied with each case for sealing the front and base panels.
The cases are provided with both M3 and Torx T10 stainless steel fixings.
OKW can supply the Unidesk enclosures with additional holes for pushbuttons, connectors and displays etc, plus silk-screen printed legends and logos.
The cases can also be painted in other colours.
