Aluminium enclosures for budget EMI protection
Rolec has launched its new conTROL range of robust enclosures, suitable for all types of electrical and electronic applications.

Rolec has launched its new conTROL range of robust enclosures, suitable for all types of electrical and electronic applications. These enclosures are manufactured from die-cast aluminium, and have a recessed lid which provides protection for the control buttons. Four standard sizes are available, ranging from 130 x 85 x 55 to 180 x 85 x 78mm.
The conTROL enclosures offer ingress protection of IP66 or IP67 is possible on request with a special gasket.
These enclosures are powder coated in silky grey RAL7032 as standard, or on demand, in silver grey RAL7001.
Special paint finishes are also available such as corrosion-proof coatings and stove-finished structured paint.
Mounting points are provided in the base and lid sections for fitting DIN rails, mounting plates, PCBs and keypad assemblies.
Small ribs in the base are compressed by the lid, ensuring excellent EMC contact throughout.
The conTROL enclosures benefit from competitive pricing as expensive EMC gaskets are not required.
Prices start at GBP 18.00.
Optional accessories include internal mounting plates, external mounting brackets, internal and external hinges, panel mounting kits and terminal mounting rails.
