OK to focus on core business

OK International is to focus on future business activities that strengthen its position in the electronics and PCB assembly industries, as well as explore opportunities in other growth markets.

OK International is to focus on future business activities that strengthen its position in the electronics and PCB assembly industries, as well as explore opportunities in other growth markets. To meet new goals, OK International will be closing the offices of its OK Industries division, in Mount Vernon, New York, by 31st March 2003. OK Industries' core business is the telecommunications industry and the product line and service levels will be maintained while internal changes in logistics and procedures are made.

OK International will continue to serve the electronics, medical device, automotive, aerospace, as well as investigate other potential markets, through their Metcal, Techcon, Semtronics and Impell divisions.
