Pericom Semiconductor Corp and Nu Horizons Electronics Corp have expanded their global service and market distribution agreement to include the country of India.
This agreement extends the existing relationship between Pericom and Nu Horizons within the Americas.
"This expansion with Nu Horizons reaffirms our successful six-year partnership", said Brad Frey, Distribution Sales Director of Pericom.
"Nu Horizons is a recognized leader in creating, tracking and fulfilling global demand and design support".
"Those factors, combined with our anticipated expansion strategy, certify our commitment to deliver optimal distribution support to our customers globally".
The Pericom distribution programme will be managed by Nu Horizons from the company's existing regional facilities in Bangalore and New Delhi.
In addition to demand creation and engineering support, the distribution of all Pericom interface, logic and silicon timing devices, will also be managed locally from both locations.
