National gathers Bluetooth alliances
Three new members have joined the National Semiconductor Bluetooth stack partners programme.
Three new members have joined the National Semiconductor Bluetooth stack partners programme: Impulsesoft, a Bangalore, India-based short-range wireless solutions company; IVT, a Beijing-based provider of Bluetooth solutions; and Mezoe, a Cambridge, UK-based provider of development tools for wireless technologies The stack partners programme, launched in 2001, enables National to pair its Bluetooth silicon with partners' software and provide its customers with complete, validated Bluetooth solutions that include software, firmware and hardware platforms

"The addition of Impulsesoft, IVT and Mezoe to National's Bluetooth stack partners programme provides National with best-in-class wireless software that will allow our customers to continue to drive the adoption of Bluetooth wireless technology".
Impulsesoft offers a Bluetooth stack for telematics and multimedia applications for Windows, PocketPC and multiple embedded real time operating systems, as well as reference designs for products such as Bluetooth serial adapters and wireless network access devices.
IVT provides a Bluetooth protocol stack, conformance and interoperability test tools, profiles, embedded solutions and a complete range of Bluetooth engineering services.
Mezoe provides a qualified protocol stack, rapid prototyping tools, a full suite of profile software and a range of engineering services.
National will bundle Impulsesoft's BluePC software stack, IVT's Bluelet software stack and Mezoe's Proto Developer tool with National's Bluetooth development platforms.
