Micom Labs, the wireless and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) compliance testing laboratory headquartered in Pleasanton, California, has launched a new website. Responding to the need among wireless developers for information about the standards in effect in various countries for wireless applications, the new website provides information about more than 200 radio frequency (RF) standards in use in the USA, Canada, the European Union, Japan, Australia and New Zealand. In addition, site visitors can find listings of new wireless technologies and details about the electromechanical compliance (EMC) standards in effect for wireless devices.

Commenting on the newly launched website, Micom Labs President and CEO Gordon Hurst said: 'Our clients are applying wireless technology in network infrastructures and in devices used for safety, warehouse tracking, medical instruments, and many other applications'.

'Our objective is to make wireless compliance easily attainable - not allow it to be a hurdle that delays product releases and revenues'.

'Web access to information is key to our clients' success, and providing that access is part of the service we bring'.

With wireless product design and development experience that spans decades, the Micom Labs staff consults with large and small companies on wireless compliance issues and best practices, in addition to its product testing and report generation.

Where clients require complete wireless management or staffing augmentation, Micom Labs also manages and tracks compliance testing and certifications throughout during a product's life cycle that can include change orders and module upgrades.
