MMG MagDev has continued with its rapid expansion by moving to new purpose-built premises in Swindon.

MMG MagDev, the magnet and ferrite material solutions provider, has continued with its rapid expansion by moving to new purpose-built premises in Swindon.

The new premises, in Faraday Park, Dorcan, are just a stone's throw from Magdev's previous home.

But the new facility is bigger and better-suited to the company's increasing design, manufacturing and logistical needs.

MMG Magdev prides itself on its ability to not only supply the highest quality magnetic and ferrite products off-the-shelf, but to also have the unique capability to custom design and make products to suit the individual needs of its customers.

To maximise the benefits of this service the new premises will have a more technologically advanced research and development department, as well as increased capacity of the manufacturing workshops.

Everyone at the company is excited about the move, which was inevitable with the continuing and growing success of its range of permanent magnets, electromechanical and soft ferrite components, used mainly for industrial, IT and automotive applications, as MagDev's Managing Director Paul Wharmby explained: "The move has provided a great boost both within the Company and among our customers".

"With the continuing expansion we are experiencing, a move to more modern premises was a necessity rather than a luxury".

"A combination of further technological advancement and our purpose-designed facilities will keep us way ahead of our competition for the foreseeable future, and allow us to develop further and realise our potential".
