Low-profile additions to green tantalum
family
A range of high-temperature, environmentally friendly organic polymer tantalum capacitors includes low-profile versions for handheld portable devices.
A range of high-temperature, environmentally friendly organic polymer tantalum capacitors includes low-profile versions for handheld portable devices The popular lead-free Kemet T520 KO is now available in a new low-profile case size
The T520T has a maximum profile of just 1.2mm compared with the 2.0mm profile previously available in this range.
All the new devices offer low ESR from 15mohm at high frequencies and increase the T520's range of capacitance and voltage ratings to 15-680uF and 2.5-8V.
The recently introduced extended-temperature T525 SMT range has also been expanded to include lower ESR versions than previously available.
The new D case devices offer ESR from 25mohm in 3.1mm profile packaging and are available with capacitance from 47 to 680uF across 2.5-16V.
New devices from both ranges are available from stock in production quantities.
