Strength meters offered
at reduced rates
Compact TV field strength meters for terrestrial and satellite system installers are being offered at reduced rates for CAI/SCTE members
The S-7825 series are the latest additions to Sefram's family of professional field strength meters. Metrix Electronics is the Sefram agent for the UK and Ireland. The S-7825 and S-7825ST models both cover the 45 to 865MHz band for terrestrial TV, and the 950 to 2150MHz band for satellite TV applications.
The S-7825ST is additionally equipped for COFDM digital terrestrial and QPSK digital satellite measurements.
It also features a fast CheckSat mode - a speedy dish alignment aid.
Their unique mosaic results display enables the user to view signal levels, spectrum and signal quality measurements (C/N, BER and MER) in one backlit colour TFT screen.
Channel set-ups and measurements can be stored in memory and downloaded to a PC via the serial interface.
The convenient padded carrying bag is just 185 x 165 x 290mm in size and, with its adjustable neck/carrying strap, is ideal for field use.
Overall weight is about 3.5kg, including the rechargeable battery, which provide around four hours use.
