Linear regulators suit automotive and
industrial
High-voltage low-power linear regulators can deliver up to 100mA of output current, which is ideal for automotive and industrial applications.
Maxim Integrated Products has released the MAX6765-MAX6774 series of high-voltage low-power linear regulators that can deliver up to 100mA of output current, which is ideal for automotive and industrial applications These low-power devices operate from 4 to 72V and consume only 31uA of quiescent current, making them suitable for always-on applications such as automotive modules

New from Maxim Integrated Products, the MAX1162 serial-interface 16bit A/D convertor connects directly to SPI, QSPI and Microwire devices without additional interface logic.
The MAX6765-MAX6774 are offered with a 1.5% accurate, fixed-output voltage of 5.0, 3.3, 2.5 or 1.8V.
Additionally, two external resistors enable the output voltage to be adjusted externally from 1.8 to 11V.
Each device offers an internal reset circuit that asserts whenever the monitored output voltage falls below its respective threshold.
When the output voltage exceeds its reset threshold, the device de-asserts after the reset timeout period.
Reset timeout are offered with fixed timeout options of 75us, 3ms, 12.5ms, 50ms or 200ms or can be adjusted externally with a capacitor.
The MAX6765, MAX6767, MAX6769, MAX6771 and MAX6773 are offered with an open-drain reset output, whereas the MAX6766, MAX6768, MAX6770, MAX6772 and MAX6774 have a push-pull reset output.
These linear regulators also offer an enable and hold circuit (MAX6767 and MAX6768), an adjustable reset input (MAX6769 and MAX6770), dual enable inputs (MAX6771 and MAX6772), and a watchdog timer (MAX6773 and MAX6774).
Additionally, all devices provide thermal and short-circuit protection.
The MAX6765-MAX6774 are offered in a space-saving, thermally enhanced, 3 x 3mm TDFN package and are fully specified from -40 to +125C.
Prices start at US $0.86 (1000-up, FOB USA).
