Dialight Lumdrives has launched its new LinkLED IP range based on its original LinkLED RGB system. Offering the ability to control a line of LEDs extending over a considerable distance, LinkLED IP brings new benefits including IP rating to IP67 and multichip technology which enables colour mixing at source. It is now ideally suited to cove lighting, interior and exterior feature lighting.

New LinkLED IP expands the flexibility and performance of the original LinkLED system and is compact, faster and easier to install than previously, and is designed for OEMs who require a simple plug and play solution.

Benefits include less fringing, it is ideal for direct view applications, strips of six or 12 modules can be supplied preassembled, an integrated heatsink for direct mounting to any surface is standard and cabling spacing can be supplied at 100 or 200mm.

A range of optics is also available, giving wide angle and wall wash options.

The patent pending optics system also allows for greater spacing in cove lighting applications.

LinkLED IP is supplied ready to use complete with plug and socket connections together with pre-assembled connecting leads.

Other features include long lamp life, typically 50,000 hours and compact form factor.

A range of compatible drivers is available together with an onboard series return connection.

Gordon Routledge, managing director at Dialight Lumidrives says; 'The LinkLED concept has been consistently one of our most successful products enabling creativity in many lighting applications across the entertainments industry'.

'LinkLED IP extends the scope of the product to many new application areas and offers faster installation too'.

The new LinkLED IP system is now ideal for use with channel letter signage, back lighting, cove and cornice lighting, orientation and accent lighting, under counter/bars/reception desks, light fixtures and with handrails.
