LA Techniques has extended its range with the updated and improved LA19-01-03 pulse pattern generator.
The new product, already available on a global basis, is a pseudorandom pulse pattern generator capable of operation of up to 3Gbit/s.
It provides a fast rise time and low pulse distortion.
The unit can accommodate two internal clock generators and supports an external clock input.
It provides a clean pulse output suitable for applications such as optical communications, fast pulse amplifiers and high-speed logic circuit development.
Remote control is via an IEEE488 interface.
"The new product has enhanced facilities such as differential output and a longer pattern length than the previous model and we expect it to be of great interest to component manufacturers for development and production testing", said LA Techniques' Sales and Marketing Director Chris Lester.
"We are already making deliveries and we expect to exhibit it for the first time in Europe at September's ECOC (European Conference on Optical Communications) event in Sweden".
