LA Techniques has won a major breakthrough order from Taiwan as part of its drive towards the Asian market.
The Taiwan win follows previous successes in the area and is one of the largest single orders ever won by the company outside Europe.
"This is tremendous news for LA Techniques and supports our decision to focus towards the Asian market", said Sales and Marketing Director Chris Lester.
"We have developed a range of innovative products which we felt were well suited to a world market.
Earlier this year we expanded into the United States, where things have gone well already, and now we are looking to repeat that success across Asia".
LA's pattern generators have established an international pedigree in production testing and development applications where a fully featured pattern generator is not always necessary.
Earlier this year, the company exhibited at the giant OFC show in Atlanta in the USA, where it was showcasing its entire product range and later at ECOC in Italy.
"There had been a demand for our products in North America since we were formed but we recognised how important the Far East market was for us too", recalled Lester.
