Dazzling performance from video codec
Dazzle, the leading brand in digital video capture and editing, is leveraging the power of the LSI Logic DoMiNo DMN-8100 codec for its Hollywood USB 2.0
Using the LSI Logic DMN-8100 single-chip device, the Hollywood USB 2.0 allows consumers to capture DVD-quality video from any (digital or analogue) camcorder, VCR or TV, and create Hollywood-style DVD content. The Hollywood USB 2.0 is the only product with a 1394 input that converts digital video (DV) to high-quality MPEG-1 or MPEG-2, in real time, and then streams it over USB 2.0 to a computer for editing.
The edited digital video can then be converted and played back on a TV or VCR for viewing or recording.
