Custom fibre assemblies are now available from Laser Components

Custom fibre assemblies are now available from Laser Components, extending the company's range of standard assemblies for telecommunications, with core sizes from 50um diameter, and special cables for sensor and medical technologies, which mainly range from 200 to 1500um core diameters. Plastic fibres, often used in sensor and automotive applications, are also assembled in-house using proprietary connector systems, as well as using specialist tools for custom assemblies.

The Laser Components facility is ideal for supplying development assemblies, which once verified can be manufactured in volume at competitive prices.
