Development system for 256 element PbS array
Cal Sensors' multiplexed PbS array has 256 elements in a low-profile industry standard package.

Cal Sensors' multiplexed PbS array has 256 elements in a low-profile industry standard package. Each pixel is 40 x 450um on 50um centres, making the array ideal for infra-red spectroscopy in the 1-3um region. Each pixel incorporates dark current subtraction and signal integration, all under digital control.
The development system is simple to use, providing freedom to experiment with the various settings of the system from a convenient Windows 98 or higher interface program.
The components of the development system can then be used within the designer's final system, saving development time and expense.
The development system consists of: a 256-element PbS array; a USB interfaced electronics board and cable; a copper mounting block and heatsink with integrated fan; a system power supply module (12V at 1.25A) and a cooler power supply module (6V at 2A); and Cal-Sensors' Array Controller software.
